Our newest restaurant, Bayberry, opened its doors for the first time to the public, and we celebrated its launch by giving back to the community that has supported us endlessly! Over two days, $1750 was donated from 350 participants using the Phin For Good platform. Good work!

Spread the Cheer with the Wheel of Cheer!

Spread the Cheer! Every December, Lessing’s donates 10% of proceeds from our Local Cheer beer sales to Island Harvest. This year, we had a twist! We partnered with Phin For Good and allowed our bar patrons to spin the Wheel of Cheer and choose where to donate the money themselves!

56 Key Lime Pies Donated

Our Charlie and Joe's at Love Street team donated 56 key lime pies to the Meals on Wheels "Pie it Forward" Palm Beach initiative. Meals on Wheels is helping reduce food insecurity in our senior citizen population.

Food Drive for Brentwood Community

Lessing's Hospitality Group supported Suffolk County Women's Alliance to End Food Insecurity and Northwell Health to distribute healthy food to 5,000 people in need for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Bass Tournament to Give Back

The View restaurant held the 33rd Annual Bass Tournament, hosting 121 anglers. After a great day of fishing, we were proud to benefit Challenger Anglers and the Send-A-Kid-Fishing fund, donating $1000 to both. 🎣

31st Annual Post Office Cafe Run

506 runners came out to the annual Post Office Cafe 5K to support the MPS Society. In celebration and memory of Mark and Casey Lessing, we raised over $22k 💜💜👟.

Hospitality = Care

Lessing’s hosted an internal campaign, where our employees received a donation credit to donate to a cause of their choice. We paid the donation, they chose the cause! We donated $2,705 in just one day!

Helped Plant a New Crop for Island Harvest's Farm

For Hunger Action Day, our team visited the local Island Harvest farm to plant vegetables to be harvested this fall. Just this year, Island Harvest has harvested 11,000 pounds of produce, helping those who face food insecurity in our local communities.

Beach Clean Up for International Coastal Clean Up Day

For International Coastal Clean Up Day, our New York team hit the beaches with Save the Great South Bay to pick up trash and help preserve and protect our coastlines and ocean.

SCWATEFI Food Drive

The Suffolk County Women’s Alliance to End Food Insecurity and Northwell Health Mather Hospital, in conjunction with Lessing’s Hospitality, Broadway Heights Dairy, DiCarlo Food and Modern Bakery, lent a helping hand to Long Islanders facing food insecurity.

Distributing fresh fruits & vegetables 🥕 🍅🍎🌽, dairy 🥛 cheese 🧀 🥚, bread 🥖 & grains to over 300 families in honor of Mother’s Day.

Plant-A-Garden for Earth Day

Happy Earth Day 🌎 🌱 We joined Island Harvest with teams from Hatch restaurant, Blaze Pizza, Lessing’s Hospitality & Phin For Good to plant a garden and make a difference in our local community. These healthy crops will be grown in our own backyard to distribute to those in need. #DoGood today and every day! 💪 In addition, $1000 worth of donation credits were given to the participants to donate to causes of their choice, on us!

1,240 Food Pantry Boxes Donated in Florida

The team from Charlie and Joe’s at Love Street came together in partnership with Living Hungry to deliver 1240 dry-food pantry boxes to help those in need in conjunction with the Salvation Army. 🌴​

Turkey Drive for Thanksgiving

This morning the Lessing's Hospitality team stopped by the Bethpage Turkey Drive for Island Harvest and donated 100 turkeys to feed 100 families this Thanksgiving. 🦃

1,406 Food Pantry Boxes Donated in Florida

In partnership with Living Hungry, we are proud to have sent 1,406 dry-food pantry boxes to help those in need in Palm Beach, Florida. Our team with volunteers from Charlie and Joe’s at Love Street and Living Hungry, in conjunction with the Salvation Army, were there to help deliver these boxes to families and individuals who need it most.

Amazing Food Drive Impact by our Florida Team

delivered 2080 pantry boxes of food to families in need in Palm Beach County, due to Covid. The boxes were provided by Living Hungry in partnership with Palm Beach County. 6800 boxes were delivered during the holiday season.

Love Street Team Helped Feed 300 Families for Christmas

In partnership with Living Hungry, donated Christmas roasts to the folks in Palm Beach Country. Over 300 families in need had food for Christmas. Our team from Charlie and Joe’s at Love Street was there to help distribute food. A special thanks to the Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization for their help.

Thanksgiving Pantry Boxes Donated for Florida Families

In partnership with Living Hungry, another round of pantry boxes was dropped to the Palm Beach area. Lessing’s Hospitality also donated 150 turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving. 🦃 We're proud to be a part of such a thriving and welcoming community. Hunger Action Day Food Drive

For Hunger Action Day, our Lessing’s team volunteered at Island Harvest and helped pack 354 boxes for their Commodity Supplemental Foods Program and 750 boxes for community distribution.

Summer Island Harvest Impact

Throughout the summer, Lessing’s Hospitality Group partnered with Island Harvest Food Bank to produce and deliver over 167,000 meals to food-insecure children across Long Island. We’re pleased to have been able to accomplish such a remarkable feat to help children who are genuinely in need.

28th Annual MPS Run for Mark and Casey Lessing

Post Office Cafe held their 28th Annual Race for MPS in celebration of Mark & Casey Lessing. 💜 💚 We would like to thank everyone who donated, raced & supported our #PO5K2019 🏃‍♀️ Because of the amazing support of those who participated, we were able to raise over $36,000 with 700 runners!

A big #DoGood day for the Lessing's Hospitality Team! A little mud never hurt! The Lessing's team & other organizations came together with the Ward Melville Heritage Organization to clean the Stony Brook Creek by removing debris & invasive species from the area.. Dine Out 4 Autism Campaign

During the month of April we honored Autism Awareness Month with a special wine give back at all of our Main Street Restaurants. Ten percent of all proceeds from OneHope Wine sales was donated to "Dine Out 4 Autism" in support of autism research. In total, we donated $1,300 to Eden II & Genesis Foundation. 💙 #DoGood .

5,000 Meals to Long Islanders in Need

During the month of April, we honored our commitment to giving back to our local community through a partnership with Island Harvest Food Bank, the largest relief organization on Long Island. 💙 We kicked off the month with a Plant-A-Garden 🌱 event on April 9th & then launched a social media campaign encouraging donations to Island Harvest on Earth Day. 🌏 As a result of our campaign, we are excited to share that we have been able to donate 5,000 meals to Long Islanders struggling with hunger & food insecurity. #DoGood .

Donate Crayons for Children Hospitals

When you do good, good comes back to you! 😊 We asked our customers to stop by any one of our nine restaurants and donate your used crayons. The Crayon Initiative collects donated crayons, melts and remanufactures them. 🖍️ The recycled crayons are then distributed to art programs at children's hospitals across the U.S.

Giving Garden for Island Harvest

While the sun was not shining yesterday, we created our own! 🌞 We had the honor of joining Island Harvest in getting their 1.8-acre Food Bank, the “Giving Garden" in Brentwood ready for this year’s crop. The seeds we planted yesterday will provide healthy and fresh produce to those in need. 🌱 .
