Company Values
It’s not a secret that we love working with our family here at Lessing’s Hospitality Group. We have continued that trend by partnering with our brother Doug Lessing and his company Phin Social Enterprise to engage our employees and customers even more with social good. Phin For Good is a Social B Corp that helps companies make real social change by creating a platform for employees or customers to make company-sponsored donations to a charity of their choice. Explore how we have been using our company values to make a substantive impact on our community !

Diversity
We seek, welcome, and respect diverse perceptions, backgrounds, and experiences.

Diversity = Creativity
Creativity is driven by a diversity of thought and life experiences. In fact, it is this very fusion of ideas and influences that enable us to serve that most artful food, in exquisite venues with the personal attention we have been known for since 1980.

We used the core value of Diversity to headline our Start of Summer campaign in June 2022. $500 of donations went to Island Harvest, Save the Great South Bay, Ty's Reef, National MPS Society, Place of Hope, Jupiter Lighthouse Preservation Fund, Rethink Food, Furry Friends, Busch Wildlife Center, Selfless Love Foundation, and Friends of the Bay

Legacy
Through honoring the traditions of our past, we build the legacy of our future.

This is more than just a core value for us. It guides our actions every day. Every year, we honor the commitment to build the future for those that follow us; on our team, in our families, and throughout our community. As a team, we clean the beaches, plant community gardens, and care for those who need it most so when we look in our wake we see a sustainable future for all.

We celebrate our Legacy as it is today and what we build for those that follow.

We used the core value of Legacy to headline our Earth Day campaign in April 2022. $1,040 of donations went to Island Harvest, Save the Great South Bay, Ty's Reef, Loggerhead Marine Life Center, National MPS Society, Place of Hope, Rethink Food, Jupiter Lighthouse Preservation Fund, Furry Friends, Busch Wildlife Center, Friends of the Bay, and Jupiter Medical Center

Growth
Learning sparked by curiosity drives our passion for continuous improvement.

We are a community in Lessing's. When we collaborate, internally and externally, it gives us space to co-create, explore, and learn. Hard work and the daily actions of the individuals on our team help provide new opportunities for ourselves and our company. When we put our minds together for good, growth is limitless and the success that comes is best when shared.

We used the core value of Growth to headline our Employee Appreciation campaign in March 2023. $1,000 of donations went to Island Harvest, Save the Great South Bay, Loggerhead Marine Life Center, Doctors Without Borders, Saha Global, and Jupiter Lighthouse Preservation Fund

Integrity
We are genuine people guided by morals.

To live with Integrity requires that our actions will be well-judged through the test of time. For over 130 years, Lessing's has been steadfast in responsible stewardship that will serve our community for generations to come. Our efforts may not get immediate results but will live up to the high expectations in the future.

We used the core value of Integrity to headline our Giving Tuesday campaign in November 2021. $2,740 of donations went to Island Harvest, Save the Great South Bay, Gimme Shelter, Ty's Reef, National MPS Society, Rethink Food, Saha Global, and Commonwealth Kitchen

Hospitality
Remarkable actions create memorable experiences.

Hospitality = Care
Care for our customers, Care for our community

Hospitality is not just about showing our customers that we care about them, but also showing our community that we want to give back. A community that supports each other is a community that is strong.

We used the core value of Hospitality to headline our Employee Appreciation campaign in September 2022. $400 of donations went to Island Harvest, Save the Great South Bay, Suffolk County Women's Alliance To End Food Insecurity, and Islip Food For Hope
Innovation
We challenge the status quo with forward-thinking, and constantly adapt to ever-changing demands.

In order to be innovators, we must embrace change for the sake of excellence and growth. That means being
active team members, bringing foresight, and coming prepared. Our society is constantly evolving, and being open-minded will help us lead the charge into the future.

We will be using the core value of Innovation in an upcoming campaign.
