Lessing’s Hospitality Group has a rich 130 years of history providing guests with unique, personalized experiences and remarkable hospitality. However, our work transcends our relations with our customers within the restaurant business. We are a family-owned and family-run business, and we understand the value of community. Therefore, we know how important it is to be active participants in our community, giving back when and where we can.
Our mission at Lessing’s has always been clear: create a legacy of remarkable hospitality. We have strived towards this goal through our passionate and innovative work while in an ever-changing industry. It is reflected in our unique events, skillful catering, memorable experiences, and our consistent pursuit of excellence. When thinking of the word “hospitality”, people often associate it with the service industry: restaurants, hotels, and bed-n-breakfasts. Specifically, moments and events that left people with positive memories. While we work well within this connotation, we also associate hospitality with generosity, and that pushes the bounds of what we could have been confined to. Our community has graciously let us expand and build the business of Lessing’s and we think the only way to give proper thanks is to simply give back. Because at the end of the day, a community that is generous and supportive, is a community that will thrive and endure.
We have designed our #dogood motto to embody our role of giving back. We are not just supporting causes and organizations from behind a desk, but we are physically out there helping lead the charge against important issues and problems that are impeding our society. #dogood is an ongoing campaign that champions the social good that local high-impact causes have been working towards. Here at Lessing’s, we hope to continue to highlight and contribute to the amazing work these organizations have been doing.
